AND HELP CONSERVE THE RAINFOREST

If the pandemic has put us out of business, so it has for many others. Many of them will turn to the local defaults, logging or mining.

As the success of NGOs like the World Land Trust demonstrates, owning land is an effective way to conserve it.

That’s what we did in 2017. We now need someone to take over. Take a peek at what you’ll be conserving in the video below, complied from just 10 days of actual camea trap footage.

PROTECT THE JAGUAR

The Amazon rainforest is one the jaguar’s last remaining strongholds on the planet. Their numbers are fast decreasing because of illegal hunting and loss of habitat.

We spotted the big guy above on the banks across from Sipapu one afternoon. It was incredible to see this magnificent creature in the wild (and at a safe distance)!

We have been tracking jaguar movement through Sipapu, including the pair in the video below, possibly a mother and juvenile. Protecting them begins with conserving their habitat.

WHY ARE WE SELLING?

In a word, the pandemic. We have run sucessful and magical healing retreats at Sipapu since 2018. All that has been on pause throughut 2020, which has made a big dent in our business.

For sure we’re sad it has come to this. We hope the next owners will be able to continue where we left off, honouring the rainforest, protecting its plants and creatures. May its magic touch your  hearts.
