ROBIN VAN LOON
Robin is the director of Tambopata NGO Camino Verde, one of our key bioregional partners. Its reforestation center develops agroforestry systems and restoration strategies, with 25,000 trees representing some 400 species of trees planted in over 20 hectares. Camino Verde also conserves more than 250 acres of primary rainforest in Tambopatá.
A Tambopata resident for 20 years, Robin originally found Sipapu as a rainforest ceremonial site for its previous owner, Oscar Miro-Quesada. Robin is especially excited at our plans for Sipapu, and is delighted to share his vast knowledge of the ecosystem and bioregion in all things permaculture.
